Ekhambee products work for all skin tones. The website talks about Women of color since our products do not have ingredients that are more harmful for those with more melanin in their skin by not including abrasive exfoliants and many trending acids that could scar the skin, cause long term damage, discoloration, and hyperpigmentation. 

Are Ekhambee skin care products clean?

Yes, Ekhambee ingredients do not contain Sulphates, Parabens, Silicone, Mineral Oils, Petroleum, Chemical Fragrances, Artificial Colors, and Abrasive Exfoliants that could scar melanin-rich skin.

I received damaged products, what is your return policy?
Defective and/or damaged merchandise must be reported within 7 days of delivery to be replaced. Please notify us by email at info@ekhambee.shop and send a photo of the damaged goods with a description of what is defective/damaged.

Do you accept international orders?
Yes, standard and expedited shipping is available. Any duties are the responsibility of the customer.

Why does the product look different or has floating particles?

It is normal for natural skincare to appear different because the ingredients might change a bit based on when they were harvested. Separation in natural products can occur due to the absence of synthetic emulsifiers that help mix oil and water-based ingredients. Natural formulations do not have chemical stabilizers, that can lead to the separation of components. To address this, shake the product regularly before use to recombine the ingredients.

Why container may not look full? 

The appearance of a less-than-full container can result from settling during shipping or variations in product compactness. Natural ingredients may also cause slight changes in volume. Rest assured, the container holds the specified amount, and any differences are usually due to factors like settling, not a lack of product.

How Long is your Shelf Life?
Ekhambee wants to ensure that you have a safe and natural lifestyle. After purchasing and opening, all skincare products, you should be completely used within 18 months—most of our products are used within three months.

Are the products safe for sensitive skin that has zits or blemishes?
Ekhambee natural skincare products were created as solutions for highly sensitive skin without highly comedogenic (meaning, it can clog pores) ingredients.

What is hyperpigmentation?
When there is excess pigmentation and changes to the skin or nails when it becomes darker than what is normal and when compared by the surrounding skin from increased melanin.

What ingredients should I avoid?
Parabens, petroleum, sulphates, phthalates, silicones, Propylene Glycol, mineral oil, paraffin, PEG, Formaldehyde, polyethylene beads, pesticides, artificial dyes, or synthetic fragrances. Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and retinols should be avoided for skin with more melanin and for long term use and facial skin clogging ingredients such as coconut oil and cocoa butter that may cause congested pores.

Where can I learn more about your shipping and returns?

Shipping costs will be calculated in the cart. Depending on your zip code, most products are eligible for 2-day shipping within the US for no additional cost. You will be responsible for covering return shipping costs. Read our terms here.

What happens if a product is backordered?
Should an item on your order be out-of-stock, we will notify you via email the expected in-stock date. Your remaining order will ship on time and the out-of-stock item will ship when available at no extra charge to you.

What is a pre-order?
The pre-order item is an item which you have the chance to purchase in preview from the new collection or a limited edition. It means that the item is still in production when ordered and not immediately available in our warehouse. Once you run checkout it is important to verify if the product is in pre-order or not. Delivery times may vary for pre-orders.

How long will it take to ship out my pre-order?
Waiting times vary from item to item. Once that the item is available in our warehouse, your order will be dispatched within two days. Please keep in mind that if you placed an order containing a pre-order item, the entire order will be on hold and dispatched at once.

Can I cancel a pre-order item?
Yes absolutely you can, just keep in mind that pre-orders may be canceled within 24 hours from the purchase. From that moment on it won’t be possible. If you have changed your mind about the product purchased in pre-order within 24 hours, you can cancel the item from your order by emailing info@ekhambee.shop.

When a delay occurs & why?
This items of our collection are exclusive. For this reason, the manufacturing process requires several production and processing steps.
