Ekhambee cleanser and toner gel with reusable cotton balls and natural oils for safely removing false lashes.

How to Safely Remove False Lashes: Tips and Tricks

Introduction
Many of us have been there: a long day of glam, and by the end, those false lashes start feeling like a weight on your eyelids. While I personally don’t wear false lashes due to a scratched cornea that prevents me from using mascara or any eye makeup, I recently helped a fellow attendee at a women's event who was struggling to remove hers. She was desperate for relief, so I offered my Ekhambee cleanser and toner gel. To her delight, it worked wonders! Here’s how you can safely remove false lashes without damaging your natural lashes.

My Experience
At the event, I noticed another woman frustrated with her false lashes after wearing them all day. She asked if I had anything to help, and I gladly shared my Ekhambee toner gel. She used it with a cotton round, and to her surprise, the lashes loosened quickly and came off easily, leaving her natural lashes intact. Her smile said it all!

How to Safely Remove False Lashes

1. Use a Gentle Skin Cleanser

Start with a gentle cleanser like the Ekhambee Sensitive Skin Cleanser. Apply it to a cotton pad and gently press it against the lashes for a few seconds to help dissolve the adhesive and then rinse with water.

2. Try the Toner Gel

If you don’t want to remove all your makeup, use a moisturizing toner gel like mine! Apply it with a cotton round over the lashes. The soothing formula will loosen the lashes, making them easier to remove without any tugging.

3. Oil Method

For a natural with oils you may have at home, wash your hands and apply a few drops of olive oil, grapeseed oil, or avocado oil to a cotton pad. Wipe it over the lashes gently. This will help break down the adhesive. Afterward, cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser to remove the oil.

4. No Pulling!

Always avoid pulling or tugging at the lashes, as this can damage your natural lashes. If they’re not coming off easily, apply more cleanser or oil and wait a moment.

5. Post-Removal Care

After removing your false lashes, consider applying a nourishing serum or moisturizer to your eyelids and natural lashes to keep them healthy and hydrated.

Keeping Dark Circles Away

While I don’t wear false lashes, I understand the importance of taking care of the eye area. To keep dark circles away, I use the Ekhambee Daily Glow Bundle, which helps maintain my skin’s radiance. I also make sure to keep my head elevated at night and get enough sleep to promote a refreshed appearance.

Conclusion
Removing false lashes doesn't have to be a stressful experience. With the right products and techniques, you can easily and safely remove them without damaging your natural lashes. And if you're looking to maintain a bright and healthy eye area, don’t forget about your skincare routine!
